Note that there are some troubles with VH11/VH12. These troubles are avoided by HHVelocityMin feature in DTXMania Rel081 and above.

  • On pedaling HH foot pedal, the brain outputs both FootPedal and HHOpen MIDI notes.
  • At releasing HH foot pedal, the brain outputs a few HHOpen MIDI notes.

If you use VH11/VH12, don't set HHVelocityMin to zero. The default value is 20 to avoid these troubles.

And there is another biggest trouble that

  • At hitting HHClose (by hitting HH with pedaling HH foot pedal), the brain outputs HHOpen MIDI note.

You can better the trouble by configuring VH11/VH12 brain like that:

  1. Push [SETUP]. [SETUP] light turns on and [SETUP] menu appears.
  2. Push [F1(MIDI)]-[F3(CTRL)]. You'll see [MIDI CONTROL] menu.
  3. Push CURSOR buttons to focus [HH Note# Boreder].
  4. Set value by pushing [+/-] and [VALUE]. (e.g. I set it to 80).

 *? Pacific Digital DrumXtreme (Soul Drummer)

Yes, you can use them after changing pad assigns in DTXMania.(CONFIGURATION - Drums - Drums Keys)

And you should do these additional settings to improve input sensitivity;

  1. Open DTXMania, assign all DrumXtreme pads by CONFIGURATION - Drums - Drums Keys, and exit DTXMania.
  2. Open Config.ini by notepad, and move to [DrumsKeyAssign] entries.
  3. Go to the line "HH=...." and modify [J00] to [J06]. If you don't see [J00] but [J10]/[J20]/[J30] etc, modify it to [J16]/[J26]/[J36] etc.
  4. Go to the line "SD=...." and modify [J01] to [J07]. If you don't see [J01] but [J11]/[J21]/[J31] etc, modify it to [J17]/[J27]/[J37] etc.
  5. Save Config.ini.
